Costa Tequila STORY
With a passion for adventure and deep love of tequila, our founder Stephen (Steve) Gavula III made his first trip to Jalisco, Mexico in 2016. After spending years visiting agave fields and touring distilleries, Steve developed a deep relationship with Master Distiller Ingeniero Agustin Sanchez and his team.
Steve had a belief that Tequila could be made for a greater audience without sacrificing or masking its natural components. After three and a half years and countless samples, Steve & Señor Sanchez have created the world’s first HI/LO blend of tequila.
In 2019 Costa Tequila’s award-winning products were introduced to the market and are widely believed to be some of the best in the world.
